and finally this.

For the price of 4 lemons and a bag of sugar, several litres of Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall's (stop your sniggering Lisa) Elderflower Champagne. Perfect for quoffing on a hot summers day.

  6. Love your blog & really had to smile at your comment about Stevie W. Part of the reason I "blogged" it with reference to the past were the youngsters who surrounded us at Glastonbury & slightly scorned our "mum & dad dancing".. and I thought to myself "This is our music"!!!!!! LOL.

  7. Elderflower champagne is wonderful stuff isn't it? All I can do is look longingly at the flower heads which look particularly prolific this year of course! By the time I get my cast off they'll have finished so I'll have to concentrate on elderberry rob instead. Thanks for the website address, I shall try some of the walks later this summer.

  8. I saw elderflower champagne being made by Alys Fowler on The Edible Garden and mentioned to the mister here that I'd like to have a go. He gave me "the look" and reminded me of our foray into home brewing many years ago. Nuff said. Yours does look very tempting, though.
