Charm Bracelet

I made a charm bracelet out of a gorgeous piece of purple ribbon I had. You tie it with a bow, so it fits any size wrist, and there is plenty of room to sew on othe "charms" or bits of treasure that you find.

I hope the recipient likes it.

I'm going to make a few more. xxx
Edited to say that I will make another and photograph each step (If I can remember how I did it - I was only faffing around!)

  1. Diane, the bracelet is absolutely stunning. I love the idea of sewing buttons (of which I have many) on it. Can I ask - you seem to have plaited/twisted the ribbon in some way?! Can't quite tell. When you've got a mo, I'd love to know. xxx

  7. That's a lovely bracelet ... charms are so popular right now aren't they! I think you need to do a tutorial for us all ... did you plait the ribbon first?

PS - Chatsworth was as lovely as ever. It was extremely busy, but we all loved it. Remember £2 for the carpark.
    Enjoy your visit tomorrow.

  17. That is very pretty and will look lovely on someone's wrist. Mind you, if it has to be tied you'd better not give it to a single friend. I don't think I can tie a bow on my own wrist singled-handed! Maybe I could squeeze my hand through the loop.
