Wonder what Will was like? Great find thanks for sharing. Hope she was both useful and beautiful - she must have been or he wouldn't have had her in his house would he - could be a double meaning in there somewhere. LOL.
Thanks for your comment on my blog! Yes, I know of the Sharrow piano but I don't think it is there any longer! It used to be half way up sharrow vale, near the jag garage.... a piano on the street that people could go up and play! x
The lovely Janey, we have pictures of her in our house. I bet her blog would have been fascinating. surrounded by all those men with their artistic temperments.
She'd have had so much to talk about and one would imagine her posts full of wonderful illustrations. Her accounts of life at Kelmscott Manor would have been fascinating:)
That's so cool, I love it!
ReplyDeleteBee happy x
Have a delicious day!
Yes, all that she could have written about in a blog! It would have been fascinating.

I wonder if she ever fancied a change from his colourful style. I can't really imagine her saying "Oh William can't we just have white!"

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tribute - Pre-Raphelite muse.... I'm clicking over to Google images to see if there are any paintings of her.
