A new obsession

I attended a jewellery making class organised by my W.I last night. I really enjoyed it. Apart from having a great natter with the ladies, I was really pleased with the results.

Only the fact that I had to start painting the kitchen kept me from visiting a local craft shop to purchase all the new equipment I need!!! Like I needed another hobby!

  1. I love making jewellery, it is great fun. I hope to make a whole lot more when I get back to France and sell it at the local bric-a-brac sale. I did very well last year. Diane

Went to the MBS event at Elsecarr today and a young lady who makes the most wonderful silver jewellery was telling us she runs jewellery courses.

  26. Making jewellery is not only great fun, it's absorbing, creative, but also addictive....!!
I went from absolute novice to being owner of a huge stash of beads and books about beads in absolutely no time at all and don't regret a single bead !!
But just think of all the gifts you can make, the lovely unique jewellery you can wear....this necklace set is lovely and I look forward to seeing more !!

  27. It's addictive isn't it? The advantage of making them is that when you get bored of a design you can unstring the beads and use them for something else!!! x
