Can you remember my mercy dash with the Dancing Queen to Blackpool just before Christmas to film footage for her interview for her coursework? Well this is the finished article. I think the footage she took in Blackpool does help to emphasise that this is a Blackpool Band, and I've almost forgotten about the £70+ train fare now!
Any way, take a look and let me know what you think. She will be reading the comments.
Good interview. Is it the mother in me that wants to tell the young men to sit up straight!! I like the way the film changes. I haven't heard any of their music (showing my age!!). Hope Dancing Queen get good marks for it.

ReplyDeleteClever girl! they look so like my James mates.x
ReplyDeleteI especially like the swigs from the can!! Nice job!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely worth the £70+ train fare. I think the Blackpool shots do give it that something extra. Well done to The DQ.
ReplyDeleteBeing from Stoke, Blackpool was always a destination. I think its very right that the images and interview includes Blackpool as its part of them/the band. Massive well done.
ReplyDeleteMy friends son, Chris Stone films, does a lot of film work too. Hope your daughter keeps going, she has done a great job and like Chris its rewarding work.
The footage from Blackpool adds a lot. My son does music videos and sometimes it's very hard to make it interesting...so kudos to your daughter:)
ReplyDeleteShe's done a fab job, really proffessinal looking & the editing is timed perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThankgoodness there was one good talker interacting with the camera!
And loved the Blackpool pictures, gave it an atmospheric background.

ReplyDeleteThe Blackpool shots really do help make it. Really professional job! Was a bit worried the hoodie'd one couldn't speak but his extra bit at the end is really good!

It's really great! Well done to your girl for getting the interview - when they're massive she can look back and say 'aah, I knew them when...'!

A great start to videography. I like the way the interview continues through the inserted clips. I would have liked more of that. Well done, hope DQ gets good marks, she should.
ReplyDeleteGreat job, I especially like the way she has edited it with different clips - makes it much more interesting.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant - spontaneous and fresh, entertaining love the camera angles and the switch from colour to monochrome/sepia - great piece of work - you made the lads look cool and relaxed - used to enjoy Blackpool until they knocked us (owls) out of the cup ;-)
ReplyDeletewhat a great job...extremely professional and well edited.
