Every time she sees me I get a lecture about how her children hardly watched any TV when they were young (nor did I, there was bugger all on in the 80's!). I remember my friend going to Cornwall on her holidays and she only took jeans and thick jumpers. However, the day I started work was the day that the red hot summer started. My friend spent nearly all her holiday in hospital with sunburn and heat exposure!!
