Ive been making a lot of these very easy corsages for fundraising and gifts. I thought I would show you how to make them.
I bought some cheap chiffon - the blue stuff came from Ikea and cost £1.29 for the roll, the green was a bit more expensive at £4.00 from a florist wholesalers, but there is more on the roll. I cut around 5 or 6 circles of varying sizes and arrange them so that the smallest is at the front. Catch them together with a switch in the middle. Then, using a special heat tool (I bought one for £12 from Hobbycraft), I start at the front and "melt" the chiffon around the edges.
That's very clever! They look lovely and great for fundraising at school fetes etc x

They're lovely, and such a simple idea.
ReplyDeleteYou make it look so easy but I have a funny feeling that if I had a go I wouldn't produce anything as pretty. (If you saw some of my knitting you'd know where I was coming from!)
ReplyDeleteThese look great Diane! Do you know if any other fabrics would have a similar effect? x
