Male Stripper at the W.I.

I knew that would grab your attention!

Today, I attended the Spring Council meeting of the South Yorkshire federation branch of the Womens Institute. This was held in the gorgeous Art Deco hotel - The Earl of Doncaster, a fabulous building with some great Art Deco features.

We listened to some of the issues of the WI in our region which was a bit of an eye opener, and in part very humorous. A lot of it put me in mind of a Julie Walters sketch!
They had some great little stalls and I came away with a new chutney to try, a chocolate fudge cake and several 2nd hand books!

We had a very lovely lunch, and then it was on to the highlight of the event......

A talk by the wonderful Costume Historian, Gillian Stapleton entitled "Undressing Mr Darcy". Gillian has probably the best job in the whole world. She advises films about historical costumes, hand sews all the costumes for her talks, and gets to undress, garment by garment, the very lovely Mr Darcy - who on this occasion was even more handsome than Colin Firth. As well as being extremely funny and highly entertaining, the talk was historically educational. Gillian and her accomplice - who I think was called Oliver - read us passages from newspapers from the period and quotes from times too.
I couldn't get close enough to take great photos. He looked utterly magnificent in his costume and top hat......

but I stood up and threw caution to the wind when he got his kit off! Well, I have to keep my readers happy!!!
I am still very much in love with Mr Darcy.
Sadly, Gillian isn't doing anymore of this talk, but I would love to see the other talks she does.

Working on Sep 11th...I have a shirt as huge as that with an extremely fine colloar - I always think of it as my Mr Darcy shirt and it hangs on a hook by my bed awaiting a Mr Darcy of my own! I got it in a carrier bag of linens!

Great pictures of the Earl, I first visited the hotel more years ago than I care to remember!
Some really good music nights there back in the 60's.

surely only you could find a Mr Darcy stripper Diane....and at a WI event! if thats what goes on i might just join. you absolutely must go to Bath, you will love it. At every corner you will expect a carriage and Colin Firth to alight in that outfit and hat... or Captain Wentworth (Ciaran Hinds)in Persuasion, my fave adaptation. will send address...how exciting x

The hotel place looked very beautiful. And isn't 'Mr. Darcy' a character from that story Pride and Prejudice or something? I think he is, I think that story was written by this girl named Jane Austen. I'm not real big on her stories, but it was cool seeing pictures of the hotel there. It was very beautiful. Hopefully someday I can go and visit some of the beautiful places in England. I would love to visit it someday and my first order of business when I get there-- go see Abbey Road Studios, as I'm a big Beatles fan, and if possible, I'd love to live there someday. All I can do right now is dream......

You have two choices when it comes to seeing a male stripper. You can go out to a club and see many at one time or you can hire one to come to a private party. There are so many different agencies that you can hire these performers for a night. When you do have one come to the home, you should make some preparations first before they come. buff butlers newcastle

Every club has their own set of rules, so it can be confusing when you're allowed to do one thing one place and not at another place.

As for the dancer that's confusing you, I am not sure if she is telling the truth when she says, "I never do this."

Most of the time, I am telling the truth when I say that to someone, but on occasion, it rolls off my tongue to keep pandering to my customer.

Sorry if this confuses you more. Strip clubs really are a confusing place to meet a lady who might really be into you. buff butlers brighton
