I couldn't capture how twinkly the trees were on our Sunday morning walk around the village.
I captured the scenes for diary purposes.
And of course the kids were making the most of the perfect sledging conditions.
I noticed too a welcome flash of colour back in my garden.

What lovely images. The snow is sometimes inconvenient but does give us some great photo opportunities! We too have some colour poking through..our first crocus are actually in flower!
It all looks so pretty.
Lovely snow photos. We've still got plenty of the stuff here, it's pretty at first but I wish it would hurry up and melt now.
Strangely enough, where I live, it's winter, and we've only had maybe a couple days worth of snow and the rest has been cold. And when my stepdad was watching a soccer game yesterday, Arsenal Gunners vs. Blackburn Rovers, the announce mentioned something about London was supposed to get a few inches of snow.
Pretty images Diane but I am so fed up with it now, the road in front of my house is an ice sheet.
Hi lovely snow photos. Can't meet weds as Nellie has an appointment. Should be able to meet up after half term. X
The snow disappeared really quickly from Worcestershire. We are now living in a rather dingy mist. Your pics are lovely. Jx
It's thawing nice and quickly thank goodness - it's lovely to look at but not so great to get around in.
It does look pretty where you are Diane-no snow where we live [ so far ,anyway !] and as I hate driving/walking on the stuff I`m quite relieved !I must be getting old
Is that, 'Diane' Witchazel that you bought ? 2yrs ago? I seem to remember you did a post about it.
Thank you for the 'Naughty' but, nice and the the lovely snow drop card, it's on my mantle piece, next to the white jug with the daffs and catkins in it.
Hugs,
Sandie xx
Lovely photos - I like the one of the village in the distance. It has been so misty and damp here today and has felt colder than yesterday even though the snow is beginning to thaw:)
it's all mushy now! no more Narnia round here!
Is that a witch hazel Diane?
