Party

My lovely friend Lyn at Everyday Life had a biggy birthday recently.  To celebrate, she organised a fabulous vintage party.  She had paid so much attention to detail and worked really really hard to make sure that everything was perfect.  All we had to do was dress the part and enjoy ourselves.

The party was in a splendid old village hall, and I couldn't help but think that if the walls could talk they would tell us that they had seen it all before!

I managed to get hubby to dress the part many thanks to my pal Julie at Heritage Reloved in Elsecar who kitted him out to perfection - think "Foyles War" style!   He found the tank top lovely and warm and I think he'll wear it again!!
We had a fantastic time and danced all night!  I don't know where we "vintage"  folk get the energy!!
I know you had a great time Lyn, thank you for letting us be part of your day xx

I read Lyn's post about her party earlier today and thought how much she detail she had put into everything. The hall looked fab.
As you the pair of you !!
What a wonderful way to have celebrated.
