The weekend starts here - for me anyway!

The big downside to being married to a shiftworker is that your weekends often don't coincide - so whilst my weekend starts when I finish work at 3pm Friday, this week, Friday night is really Sunday night for Hubby who's working week starts tomorrow at 8am. Tonight is also the first night in a long time that we have all been able to sit down for a meal together, so when I got home from work, I put the Roast Beef on so that we could have Sunday Dinner - on Friday night!!! It was far too nice to stay in while it cooked, and with dire weather forecast for tomorrow, Hubby and I decided to have a little walk down the lane,

past the moo cows (whoops - don't let on whats for tea!!)
past the stream

across the fields

by the pretty little school

and the very majestic church

to the watering hole

I loved the rules in the pub - they apply in my house too!! You are all welcome - as long as you behave!!

Hubby gave me his heart (shaped salt&vinegar crisp)

and my weekend truly starts here.

Cheers! Have a good 'en. xx

ps. pinching of elderflower champagne should surely result as 'bad behavoir' and definitely at least a slap on the wrists - very naughty!

Yes, I know all about living with a shift worker!! Retired now, thank goodness!

Your walk looks so lovely, and so near you. Living in a town, we only have the Park, but it is at the back of us, with a gate from our garden into it, and it is a very large park, so things could be much worse!! And anyway, I can't walk very far.

But there is some beautiful country very near us......
