I'd never heard of Chilli Jam before, but started to read that lots of you were making this and so I thought I would have ago.
I found a recipe here.
Oh my! Its gorgeous and totally addictive! I gave all but one jar away to friends, so now I need to make another batch. I can safely say its the tastiest thing EVER to come out of a jar. I cooked a piece of ham just to have with it and its perfect with cheese.

Yum! I love chilli jam. We have a glut of chillies coming through in the garden so hopefully we'll get to make some soon. It went down very well last year with christmas leftovers.
Oh no! I don't like chillis. I don't fancy that! I'm going to make some onion jam though!

Diane thanks for the link ... I never like to be without chilli jam, it's so good with so many things (crab cakes, any kind of fish cakes, chicken, a cheese sandwich), and it's a key ingredient in peanutty noodles, which take less than five minutes to make and which my young wolf down
LOVE your blog

Another idea for Lisa's spicy hamper!

I make tons of the stuff, using Sarah Raven's recipe which is the same as the one you're using :) I tell you what, when I make it at Christmas, it's great for clearing my sinuses, as I always seem to have a cold when it starts getting chilly outside!!

What a great idea - I have some tomatoes to use up but was grumbling at the idea of making chutney. Thanks for the link :-)

I have heard good things about chilli jam, but have not yet tried it. Luck has it that i have a chilli plant that is full of chillis, so what a great idea - definitely a novel Christmas gift!
I haven't made chilli jam in years but I used Peter Gordon's recipe (Sugar Club) and it was seriously good. Joanna's looks easier than I remember so I may give it a go next week, thanks
I'm fairly sure I've done neither Nando's nor Commando (together or separately) but I have been thrown out of McDonalds for being merrier than is appropriate (in my youth you understand). I'm very proud of this fact because I can't believe too many have achieved it, however my husband is still mortified!!) x
Hi Diane, thanks for the lovely comments over on my post today! We'd love it if you can come to our Northern meeting. I'll keep you posted with the details when Heather sorts it out!

Mmm - sounds tasty! Just made loads of damson jam but I may give it a try. Love the pretty tops you've made for the jars:)
I have a bit of thing for that - isn't it just the most glorious, sweet yet spicy combination in the whole world?
