Sunrise and Sunset

We noted the Sunrise and Sunset times on the local fishing lakes. The 25th September looks like the date when we have equal amounts of light and dark. I think that at this time of year, it is called the 2nd Equinox. Its not something Ive given much thought to in the past, but being as it falls on a Saturday this year I think we may take the time to celebrate the day.

Good idea! Any excuse in my book.
I don't know whether their is any truth in it but leading up to a full moon the children at school and my own are always more tricky to deal with. Is it my and my ability to cope with them, or that they are more hyper in the lead up? Maybe it just coincides with my hormones???? ha ha. x

They said on the breakfast news that yesterday was the first day of Autumn so I guess all these seasonal changes are on the way and it's time to say farewell to summer. Hope you have a lovely day however you decide to celebrate. Have a great weekend:)

Hello Diane,
Thanks for your lovely comment.
I love the houses on the Ashton Estate, especially the colour of the front doors. I would be quite happy to live there myself.

Have a great Equinox party! Any excuse will do in my book, frankly, so I think that is a splendid idea.

Have a great, autumnal weekend!
