Easy patchwork cards

Using leftover scraps of pretty fabric, and "Happy Birthday" ribbon (which I bought on a roll from John Lewis) I made some easy patchwork birthday cards.
Nothing much gets wasted in this house.

Such pretty fabrics. I would have never thought to use scraps like that but it works really well.

Another great addition to your line in hand crafted cards.
Hythe would be a good destination, only if it's a smooth crossing though!

Oh Diane, these are lovely. Fabulous idea and one which I will have to shamelessly copy if you don't mind! I think my daughter would enjoy doing that as well!

I wish I could come up with good ideas like that for cards instead of the usual blah color and paper cards. You think of everything. It's cool to know someone so creative who can find uses for everything.

So simple yet so effective! And way better than anything you can buy (for a small fortune!) in the card shops.
