Prom night

Its the young mans school prom night. My friend came round to make the boys buttonholes, and beautiful corsages for their prom dates.

Its weird to see your scruffy little boy scrub up into such a fine young man.

Ah, that's lovely! Don't they look so nice all dressed up! My young man declined to go to his ... well he was at an all boy's school so I don't know how it would have panned out really, but my daughter had a wonderful time at hers.

Such beautiful ladies and handsome gentlemen. My husband always says the scruffy ones clean up the best! This is such an exciting time for them.

They look great and the buttonholes and corsages are lovely as is that wonderful blue dress that some fortunate young man's date is wearing!

Wonderful, I bet you had a tear in your eye when you saw him. Daniel didn't go to his prom, nor did many of his friends, whereas Eleanor is itching to get to the age when it's her turn.
