Ive baked cup cakes for my daughter to take back to celebrate her Uni house mates 21st Birthday. I love the pretty box from the Lakeland Store (where I had gone in for a browse and come out considerably poorer!)
Even though she never uses them, she doesn't give them up without a fight, but I think she quite likes the fact that they finally do get used.

Those cakes look amazing! That's a great box too. Lakeland is a dangerous place for bank balances!
wow, a new career in the offing diane...very professional!
Those cakes look fabulous, you made my tummy growl. I was amused by the story of your mum not giving up tools that she has never used, I think I will be the same!
Wow they look amazing and very professional in the lovely box.
Is there no end to your talents Mrs?
I think it is almost impossible to visit Lakeland and not come out of the shop poorer than when you went in! I remember my mother having a set of icing bags and nozzles of various sizes, I've no idea what happened to them. Your cup-cakes are so pretty and look very professional in their lovely box:)
Those buns look lovely, and the box is such a good match.
I absolutely love your pretty cupcakes and they are so beautifully colour co-ordinated with the rose cake box. What a lucky 21st birthday-girl.

Your cupcakes look so pretty, I bet she loved them, love the little roses I just lurent how to make them.
Oooo they look pretty, I love Lakeland but they ain't cheap are they? I fancy a Tala icing nozzle set for Christmas, would you recommend the metal one? I seem to struggle with bags and always end up covered in icing !!

They look picture perfect!
Aha! Diane, I still have my Tala Icing set - well, it was my mother's, but she handed it on to me. Fiendishly difficult to get icing out of the little nozzles.......
Love the cup cakes. They won'tr last long!
They look great, perfect proffesional presentation.
Woohoo they are perfect cupcakes. Lucky daughter. Your mum must be a bit of a hoarder but good for you in getting the icing set.
I laugh to myself when my daughter gets excited about finding 60's stuff to decorate her apartment. They furnished their whole place with 60's stuff from the markets. All the sort of stuff that we threw away in the 80's.
They look amazing - little side business I ask myself? They are presented so nicely! xxx
You could start your own cupcake company! They look too pretty to eat, I love how you co-ordinated them with the box, they look magical and I bet they tasted even better than that! xx
Wherever you go in England you come out considerably poorer!!! ;-)
Hello stranger! I've taken an "evening off" for catching up with your lovely blog, hope you're well!
Michela xxxx
