Blue Moon

According to Astronomers, we will witness a Blue Moon in our skies tomorrow night.  My daughter suggests that we should do something that we only do "Once in a Blue Moon" .  We are at a loss as to what to do - any suggestions?  At work I've suggested we try to have a good day at work!!!!

Blogging will be a bit hit and miss as we have a poorly relative and much time is being taken up by hospital visiting and sorting out stuff.  Normal life is a bit on hold for the time being. xx

Wow, I hadn't noticed this. Have stopped being so aware of the full moon dates as the Canterbury earthquake aftershocks quieten down. Must celebrate Once-in-a ... somehow.
Haven't left a comment for awhile but still enjoy your blog. Take care.

Difficult to decide when you have other things on your mind.

How wonderful, I didn't know about the blue moon - just looking at it whilst sitting on my garden bench and sipping a glass of wine will do me. I suppose I could eat blue cheese and sing 'blue moon' too (only joking) - will look forward to seeing - thanks.

Tea at Bettys in Harrogate or York? I'm sorry you're having to cope with illness in your family, it's never easy when you have the worry and hospital visiting this entails. Hope that whoever is ill recovers soon.

It's a good excuse to do something different I guess but blue moons are not really all that infrequent - some years we can have two blue moons!

Here's the thing Diane-- if you have a sick relative, worry about them first. Blogging will always be here. And from all the comments you always get, you have a lot of loving, supportive followers here for you. So, don't worry about the blogging, you can always come back to that. Family is important. You only have one family :D

Oh! Sorry to hear about the relative -hope they will be okay! Things you do once in a blue moon? Get in the car and drive to the beach at midnight? Or somewhere at midnight and have a picnic with ice-cream or hot chocolate depending on how you feel and tell stories or listen to music and sing songs! Or make a fort! :) xxx
