Di's Broadcast to the nation!

My daughter had to produce a podcast for part of her Uni course - and I was roped in! I thought you might like a laugh!! Thank goodness my kitchen looks OK as I look a wreck - and I had made an effort at that!! (although trimming my own fringe minutes before filming might not have been the best idea!!). I only did it on the proviso that she photoshop me to look like Audrey Tatou. And "one of your fruits a day" has become another one of my sayings that gets repeated in mocking tones on a regular basis! We did film a complete meal, but the podcast had only to be 2 minutes, so you only see the pudding.
It was really hard to do - and as you will see, Delia and Nigella can rest easy - they certainly have no competition. x

PS My now almost completed wombled and credit crunched kitchen features many of the beautiful gifts that have been bestowed upon me by my equally beautiful "blends" (bloggy friends). Don't they look fab! xx

Aww, I thik you did just fine. Besides, if I had to do something like that in my house, my kitchen looks like Italy exploded. I'm serious, no lie! My mom is really into Italian culture!

I thought that was fab and you dared to expose - wait for it - your cooker. I would die of shame if I had to expose mine to the www.

Great job! I never imagined that you would speak with a northern accent - but of course you would. (I'm just not used to hearing them.)

Amazing! I love your accent ..but the best bit is your DIY fringe! (sometimes I trim mine too)

Hey ..... well done you!
That was really good! I'd much rather eat your creme brulee than the pig's trotter they're cooking on Masterchef while I'm typing this!
Your kitchen is looking lovely!

PS Mums come to our school to pick their children up with the big rollers and pyjamas! It's not a myth!!!!

Well done. It was very professional and as you say not easy. The dessert looked delicious too. Loved your accent and fringe. Looking forward to another Di's Kitchen episode.

Well I thought you were very 'Delia' and I can't believe any wombling went on in the making of your kitchen, it's superb and looks fit for Ideal Home magazine!
