Julie Arkell@ Hope & Elvis

What on earth has happened to blogger?  All my photo's have displayed in the wrong order!  Anyway!!  Today I spent the day in the company of some wonderful ladies at the Hope and Elvis Studios, creating chatting and generally having a great time.
Blogger has just deleted the picture I had posted of my effort!!! So i'll have to show you it later.  It was supposed to look like one of these posies that the fabulous Julie Arkell has inspired us with - but I warn you now - it is harder than it looks and mine looked nothing like!

 Julie creations are magical.

I'm going to have a go at one of these later on.
I reaquainted  with a bloggy pal, and made new friends too.
And here is magical lady herself.  Many thanks to Louise, all the lovely ladies, and especially Julie for making today such a wonderful wonderful day - as ever!
And many thanks to blogger for totally messing up my post, deleting photographs that I thought were going to be shown and causing me a bit of IT stress on a Sunday evening!

I love those oval and round floral brooches.
This new set up takes a bit of getting used too!

Looks like a fun day. I couldn't agree more about Blogger - I can't get spaces between the text and the photos any more - however much space I leave when I write by the time it's published they've disappeared. I do wish they'd leave things alone!

Am I the only one who doesn't much like her work? I like the tecniques but I don't like the weird and ugly characters she produces. All that effort to make something ugly seems a bit strange! However, I have seen the work of others who have taken her class and some of it has been lovely.

Looks like you had a fun day - intrigued by the watches! Blogger is driving me mad at the moment. I changed over to the 'new interface' last week as it was going to change anyway this month and I'm not happy with it at all! I must be getting old as suddenly I don't like change:( :)xx
