I want to be in America.......

I don't really - we just went to see West side story and the tune keeps going around in my head. I last saw West Side Story on stage about 8 years ago, and it made me cry then. Last nights production was a little "lacklustre" both myself and the dancing queen agreed. The girls in the production were fabulous, great dancing and singing etc, but the boys let the side down we felt. It was even a bit slow in parts. Anyway, we still enjoyed most of it.

Sounds like a great night out despite the boys not being up to scratch - perhaps they will improve as the show continues:) I didn't mention it in my blog post but the Severn Valley Railway has a station at Bridgnorth.

Another great musical, shame about the boys.
We booked to go and see Sound of Music in Oct. G wants to go for his birthday so it's my treat to him.

I just put West Side Story in the drawer of my desk at school. I'll get it out next year when we read Romeo and Juliet. The kids love it! It's so old, but they don't care! What a great post!
