I was looking for somewhere recently when I came across Mary Street in Sheffield. It is a shortish post industrial street in the heart of the city, and a good example of how the old workshops in the heart of the city are being "recycled". The Porter Brook gushes through this part of the city on it's way to join the river Sheaf before joining the river Don. I noticed a sign that said that the Japanese Knotweed (something that I have seen an explosion of around these parts this summer) is being dealt with. I really love this ancient industrial little brook.
Here when I get chance. Very swanky. I believe it is owned by someone from New York who prefers Sheffield! I keep telling you it's great here!
