The views wherever you are on the estate are breath taking.
We noticed some deer. Unfortunately, they also noticed me and ran away before I got the camera set up!
We walked down through the stunning estate village "Edensor". Spookily, my 99th "follower" who introduced herself yesterday was also in Edensor - possibly at the very same time!!! Can you see yourself in any of the photos Rebecca? What a small world.

Dear young man..until you'll live with them..they will be always "wicked evil parents"! ;-)
Diane, you know, I can see you sitting into that fabulous Aston Martin, sipping a refreshing G&T on your way to St.Ives!..well, I'd customized it with some hearts of course! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Wicked Evil Parents, sounds like us! I have never been to Chatsworth it looks stunnning
When I used to live in Notts I ventured to Chatsworth often - it is absolutely stunning isn't it? Have you been at Xmas time when they decorate the house? Last year they had a Hans Christian Andersen theme and it was magical. The Duchess also had the beautiful little church at Edensor decked out with flowers too. We visited on the day after the first snow - words can't describe how beautiful the house and estate looked.
Chatsworth is one of the best houses in England - in my opinion.
haha! Thank you for the mention! We must have been at the same place at the same time just about! We saw all the cars but didn't know what they were there for.... just assumed it was a very busy day at Chatsworth! I love your photos of Edensor, it is such a pretty place! x
I love chatsworth...what a lovely day out! With a nice reward for the boy at the end! xxx
Lovely scenery in these photos Diane, especially love the blossom laden tree and views of Chatsworth House. Lesley x
I have always wanted to go to Chatsworth, looks very impressive x
Such a beautiful estate, we were there not long ago, so dont suppose you were too sad to deviate from original plan and at least you were all happier!

Great photos of Chatsworth and Edensor. At least the young man got a super treat at the end of the walk and a chance to see all those cars:)
