Garden Poppies

All natures freebies, and not in keeping with the colour scheme, but far too beautiful to pull up.

I love the top three - they just seeded themselves? How lovely!

We have lots of the Wlesh poppies, yellow ones too. I like them and leave them alone especially down the rather 'wild' end!

Stunning Poppies! I've got the 1st fluffy one in my garden, but unfortunately it's not a freebie :(
You're plenty of seeds then, why don't you join in Marmalade Kiss' seed swap?

We've got lots like the one in the third photo - they are just about ready to flower over the next couple of days - they all came from one seed in the raised beds presumably dropped by a bird - so as you say nature's beautiful freebies:)

Poppies are great, like you say end up in the most unpractical place but with such beauty!

There are a group of us who love poppies (13) & this year only one person has managed to get poppies to grow in the garden! How weird is that? I will show them your post Diane, see if we can do better! x

I just am visiting your blog for the first time, and love the flowers here! I've been doing a regular "friday's flowers" on my own blog, but don't know how long I can keep that up! Anyway, thanks for the beautiful pictures, and I've enjoyed my visit and will be back!
