Stunning Poppies! I've got the 1st fluffy one in my garden, but unfortunately it's not a freebie :( You're plenty of seeds then, why don't you join in Marmalade Kiss' seed swap? xxxxx
We've got lots like the one in the third photo - they are just about ready to flower over the next couple of days - they all came from one seed in the raised beds presumably dropped by a bird - so as you say nature's beautiful freebies:)
They are wonderful freebies ! Guess what? You are a winner in my 200th blog post celebration! Pop over to my blog and leave your name and address on my comments, it will not be published, be reassured. Congratulations! Let me know your favourite colour for wearing, etc. I know you like hearts!
Oh I do love poppies!! And all these pretty things grew by themselves for you?? My word, you are a lucky one! We have hundreds of the orange ones in our garden, but Im plotting on aquiring some red ones... ;D
There are a group of us who love poppies (13) & this year only one person has managed to get poppies to grow in the garden! How weird is that? I will show them your post Diane, see if we can do better! x
Lovely Diane, oh and i was pleased to hear Mr Toad has a Mrs Toad next year you'll have masses of tadpoles and then you'll have hundreds and you will need a bigger pond to keep them all in!!!!!
I just am visiting your blog for the first time, and love the flowers here! I've been doing a regular "friday's flowers" on my own blog, but don't know how long I can keep that up! Anyway, thanks for the beautiful pictures, and I've enjoyed my visit and will be back!

I love the top three - they just seeded themselves? How lovely!
We have lots of the Wlesh poppies, yellow ones too. I like them and leave them alone especially down the rather 'wild' end!
