Mothers Day

Its Mothers Day here in the UK. I made a card for my mum using this photograph of her and me - on the beach at Blackpool circa 1965. My mum was extremely glamorous when she was younger (and still is actually even though she is in her 70's). She was a dead ringer for the young Elizabeth Taylor in her day. Happy Mothers Day Mum.

wonderful photo - they were a glamerous lot back then. My mum is away so I've sent a text to the person she's staying with to show her ... odd way for me to tell her Happy Mothering Sunday !

Oh Diane, I have a photo so very similar to yours, with me and my daughter, taken about 4 years later, and on the beach at Herne Bay in Kent.

I wasn't as good-looking as your mother, but the hair is similar, and the sun glasses!

Makes me feel too old!

Lovely idea for a card, though.
