Date Night

Hubby and I made the most of the light evening and fine weather by taking ourselves off for an evening stroll. It was great to see such huge buds out on the Chestnut trees. The sun this week has brought nature bursting into life.

The crows in the trees were making a huge racket.
Hubby found me a heart shaped stone on the church path.
Rosie - look whats happened! I think these are really early.
The church path always looks its best when the daffodils are out.

And the blossom is out too.
We did dawdle taking photos, and stopped for a chat with someone we hadn't seen for a while. It's lovely to breath fresh air when you have been cooped up in an office all day.
And we watched the sun set too.
And we called for a quick drink at the pub too - it would have been rude not to.

I always love our date nights. x

As always, beautiful photos. Loved the little quip about having to stop off at the pub because it would have been rude not to. I'm with you.

We are having an early spring and just read in the paper today to expect a hot summer. Say it isn't so!

I still remember your heartshaped crisp on a previous date, LOL!
It looks like Spring has arrived earlier in the UK rather than in Italy, despite we're already on the 20°C at lunchtime..

What a lovely date night you had and I agree it would have been rude not to step inside the pub! The daffodils look lovely, I'll have to gaze at your photos but I'm sure there will be other lovely flowers to see when we visit in May:)

Your Spring is much more advanced than ours on the other side of the Pennines! And that is a very long path to the church - can the infirm get nearer by car??

Yes, those daffodils are very early!

The path leading to the church looks lovely lined with daffodils.

Great to see that date nights are all the rage. I really look forward to Wednesdays! The daffodils look wonderful. Our's are just starting to flower now.
We haven't been able to get out for a walk in the evening yet, so we've been stopping off in Liverpool on our way home. Can't wait for the clocks to change!
