2nd Senior moment of the week.


I might need your help in recognising what is growing here. When I planted them, I felt sure I would remember what they were!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beans, peas, Sweet Peas, Pansies, tomatoes, lettuce, beetroot, cabbage, sprouts (ugh!), herbs, poppies, primrose, daisies, aliums, sweet williams, dianthus, carnation, anenome, alyssum - there's some to be thinking about ..... I know the feeling, last year I wrote on little sticks but it wall washed off ....... never mind as they get bigger & stronger they will get to look like what they are supposed to be !!!!!!!!

Coming from someone who has done this too!

When they get their first real leaves I could hazzard a guess!

erm! not sure, have labeled mine extremely carefully this year as this happened to me last year. It will be a nice surprise anyway! x noelle x

Oh I do things like that too!! Hurrah for other absent minded souls like me!!

Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog, I just wanted to make sure you had the right date for the show, it runs from Fri 10th - Sun 12th July, I take my paintings to a selection day on May 10th so fingers crossed it will be chosen for the show!

Those are peas in the big tray, and some sort of brassica in the pot - brocolli i would say, or cauliflour.. Not sure about the egg carton.. x

Oh, know the feeling - we've just found plain envelopes full of seeds in amongst the other packets - some unlabelled some just with 'seeds' written on - all different - goodness only knows what they are - time will tell I expect:)

I am just growing my first ever herbs. I labelled them but when I watered them the labels went all smudgy...looks like I may have the same problem!

ooops! once I weeded a whole row of lettuces because I thought they were weeds, so I'm really not the person to ask......
