Melt your cold cold heart

My young man has recently been on a college trip to Iceland - visiting volcanoes, glaciers, swimming in thermal pools and generally have a fabulous time, all in the name of education.  I have to say that Iceland had never been on my "must visit" list, but his photos and stories have made me and the old fella keen to go.  Whilst he was there, he saw this and thought of me.  If you double click it, you can see all the trapped bubbles.

I thought it was a very seasonal heart to share with you my lovelies.

It sounds like a fantastic experience for him. Nice that he thought of his mum while he was away too.

I think Iceland would be a great place to visit, because it is so unlike anywhere else!
What a lovely photo, and how sweet of your big boy to take it for his mum!
PS. I love song lyric titles, especially if I have to really work at dredging them up from the back of my mind. Can't beat a bit of Hank Williams, or was yours the Nora Jones version?! xxxx

What a sweet guy. Gets a piece of ice shaped like a heart? Oh man, that is so sweet. Not many guys like that anymore, who think of sweet gestures and are generally nice and sweet. Not many romantic or just nice guys in general anymore...

How lovely that he thinks of you and hearts. I've never been to Iceland either but people seem to get stunning photos there.

What a lovely thing to do for you and isn't it pretty?

The furthest north I have been is Finland but I didn't see the Aurora Borealis or any ice. I expect you'll have a smashing time there.

My son also went to Iceland and found it awesome (but VERY expensive - like Norway). His pictures also made me think long and hard - then I remembered it's 30C in Majorca ;-)

Wow, what a lucky guy going there, and see... he has a heart for his mum! It's quite close to England... well matter of speaking, did you check on flights? I bet you could get a great deal~
