Having browsed what seems like a million "Homes & Gardens", "25 Beautiful Homes" etc etc, and not finding anything that "grabbed" me, I finally found the look I am going to go for in my kitchen on a wonderful blog. When you peer through the windows, I want it to look like THIS. Be warned, this is a seriously beautiful blog. Many thanks Mia for giving me permission to show one of your many beautiful photographs, of your stunning home. Blogland is the best place ever for inspiration.

What a lovely blog I could have spent ages there. The photos are stunning. Glad you've found some inspiration for planning your new kitchen - it will look wonderful, I'm sure:)
That Swedish style appeals to me too. I look forward to seeing yours!
You can get loads of inspiration on every subject possible from blogs. That kitchen is lovely, it would be a start if I could keep mine tidy.
It is a lovely picture. Simplicity and feeling.
That is so gorgeous.
Thank you for the link and all your funny, beautiful and wonderful comments this year and of course for your fabulous blog too.

that is just lovely , one of my faves is very similar -- http://theswenglishhome.blogspot.com
That looks just how I like it, clean and fresh. It's always a job to pick the right colour for a kitchen, it needs to be just right as we spend so much time in them.
That's a lovely picture and a beautiful blog. The Swedes know how to do style, don't they?! The Swenglish Home is another, even lovelier, blog, with gorgeous ideas..
Oooh yes! This is simply beautiful!
I quite like the Scandinavian look but, like Chintz too!

Ooh I'd love that kitchen too. Gorgeous.
Keep it simple and bright, you can't go wrong!
my kitchen is full of dog hair, dog smells and the occassional puddle from an incontinent bulldog!
I am more than happy for someone to peer through my window at my kitchen in France but heavan help anyone who should try it in the UK!! Diane
That's a lovely kitchen .... we changed our kitchen last year and went for something similar. White shaker style units and oak worktops. I love it because it's so light and fresh. Obviously it's not as beautiful as that one because I'm not that tidy and we have a big dog!!!!

P.S. That craft show is on the 5th Feb!
Oooo now that is a lovely lovely kitchen....
The paper chains were from the Christmas shop in the Millenium Galleries @ Sheffield, not Kath Kidston though....

and it will diane.......am so envious of your chatsworth trip, that is one of my most favourite houses and gardens anywhere.....
It's very beautiful in it's simplicity. I love those tiles. If we ever changed our kitchen those are the ones I'd go for. Can't wait to see your kitchen evolve.
