Our Ferry glided into the port of Caen very early in the morning after an incredibly calm crossing from Portsmouth - just in time for a beautiful sunrise.
I didn't see another sunrise all holiday, but we caught plenty of beautiful sunsets - always a favourite time of day for me.
These were my favourites. We watched these 3 for hours fishing for something for their supper.
I turned around after the sunset and discovered the moon already out and shining behind me.
Beautiful moments.
