Raindrops on roses - and other objects

On a very wet Saturday, my love and I took a stroll dodging the heavy showers at Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

The photo below is my favourite shot of the day

He says he honestly doesn't mind that an hours walk takes 3 hours because of  all the stopping to take photographs.  But the internation in his voice says otherwise!!

I love all these photos! What an amazing park.
And "raindrops on roses" makes me smile, thinking of one of my favorite lyricists, Oscar Hammerstein!

Olly is trying to get me to agree to only take photos on every other walk and that way we might get around a lot further/quicker! It will never happen......
Love the photos, one of our favourite places. Xxx

Get away with you, I bet Mr M is as proud of your glorious photos as you are, and such artistry takes time! The wet and misty conditions made for some beautifully atmospheric shots, Diane, some of your absolute best, I think. Love YSP, it's a wonderful place. xxx
