Another Place has been on my list of places to visit for a long time. Unfortunately, it was an incredibly misty day when we visited, but we felt that it did add to the atmosphere of this incredible place. I thought it was stunning and would love to return on a sunnier day to see the contrast.
We noticed that they are all weathering very differently.
Well worth a visit.

How wonderful! I loved these when we visited there a few years ago and they are weathering in different ways aren't they? They already look different in colour and texture to when we saw them. It was bright and cold when we were there - the mist does give everything a different look and dimension. Glad you got to tick them off your list:)xx
The weather does make a difference! We went on a breezy but very sunny day last August (http://angeljemscitycottage.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/another-time-another-place.html) and it really does look much more eerie in the mists! My relatives live nearby, and I think it must be so enticing to see them in all different lights and times of day. I really want to go at sunset one day (because there must be a fantastic shot waiting to be taken there with the Sun and the people)
Gosh - they are quite ghostly in the mist - spooky!

What eery statues, i like how they're weathering. I think seeing them in the fog was perfect.
An amazing set of photos, beautiful. Loved seeing the sculptures in the mist & also close up. If i'm ever up that way, I'll make sure I see them.
That's on my list too... Haven't got there yet! I like the misty effect, gives them a different look from what you usually see.
Amazing...like the statues that were on the roof tops of buildings all over London for Event Horizon in 2007......would love to see them on the beach!x
Have seen them when we had a weekend in Liverpool, but it was bright and sunny. They look awesome in the mist! Love the pictures. X
You've been away! And to such a fab place too. That really was a misty day, but it does lend something to the photos and the stillness.
