Lest we forget

Today we will be remembering all those brave souls who gave their lives so that we can live in freedom.

I used to go to the Remembrance Day Parade in Sheffield with my cub scouts many years ago but the last few years I've gone up to our local War Memorial - it's always a very moving ceremony especially since I feel I know all the WW1 soldiers now.

Indeed! That's a very strong image to make us all stop and think:)

We must never forget. I watched the service on tv. Glad to hear that you enjoyed your shopping trip in Leeds. So many new shops have sprung up in the arcades now, it isn't long ago that they were all in a state of decline, but I think they've been restored to their former glory now.

Remembrance Day was on the 4th November in Italy, but it's not as popular as overthere
