So this week the doctor suggested some gentle walking. Hurray!!! And the weather was kind enough too. The sun almost had a little strength to it!
I found you a heart too!
It was such a relief to get out and about and feel fairly normal again.
It's amazing to think that this stunning scenery is less than 20 minutes drive from home.
Another 5 minutes drive took us to the top of the world - well that's what it felt like.
Standing on Holme Moss moor, you can see all down the Holme Valley and over to the furthest outreaches of West Yorkshire.
Don't blue skies make you feel much much brighter! xxx

Lovely photos Diane, we couldn't resist the sunshine either but I fear your Grandad may be right as winter hasn't finished with us yet! Xx
Who needs a cardiologist when you have views like that x
Beautiful photos. Glad you're able to get out walking. x
Lovely views, I haven't been to that area for ages! There still plenty of snow lying around here too but it was great to have a sunny day for a change!

It looks beautiful & invigorating :)
A bit of sunshine does make all the difference, especially coupled with the days starting to get longer.
Sunshine in February, what more can we ask. What beautiful countryside you have there.
Must be nice to get out and about, such a lovely place.
Bet that blew the cobwebs away. So wonderful to have some sunshine at last, its a real tonic.
So glad you are getting out and about again - some gebtle walking sounds good and those views are stunning. Your grandad's prediction will probably be right as more cold weather is on the way later next week but haven't the last few days been wonderful and cheering?
Sorry I missed that you have not been well, but glad that you are out and about again. Have a good day t'other Diane
Diane,
I always just love the photos on your blog. You visit so many wonderful places. I wanted you to know that I’ve nominated you for a Liebster Award. I have posted about it on my blog today with questions for you if you want to participate. I know these things aren’t for everyone but I really love your blog and wanted to give you an award. Check it out if you would like.

It is always lovely to see your pics and join you on your travels, Diane. Hope you are doing OK. Yes, a bit of fresh air, blue sky and beautiful scenery are definitely good for the soul.
PS. Chatted with Debs on Thursday at Chesterfield, you should pop over to the market, you'd love it! xx
Love those pictures and good to hear you're out and about again.
Sunshine is a great tonic. I think your GrandDad may be right :-(
