I have been hatching a plot to use teeny tiny scraps of fabric that are too small to do anything with. I have started a mini patch patchwork quilt. I photographed it beside the extremely large squared patches that I made the other week so you can get a perspective.
I plan to keep this project on the go for as long as it takes to make a decent sized quilt. It is extremely satisfying to see something grow from basically nothing.
I will keep showing you this project as it grows.
What do you make with your scraps?

I love scrappy quilting, I can't bear waste
What do you mean 'one I made earlier' when did that happen? I love them both and you put me to shame, I've not picked up a sewing needle for months, I have been painting a bit so I have tried to be a bit creative....I plan to do loads in the summer holidays......only one week to go! Xxxxxx
You have so much more patience than me! Lovely colours and patterns
Such pretty prints. And a lovely idea. I never know what to do with fabric scraps, but I can't bear to throw them away! xxx
I love the 'one I made the other week' comment about your larger patchwork quilt - I wouldn't know where to start on making one and if I could it would probably take me ages - you are a very talented lady, Diane - love the mini quilt idea too:)
A real recycling treasure in the making.
