New Neighbours

A new couple has moved into the nest box in my garden.

I have already spent many hours sat watching them from my conservatory.

I hope we get some little ones this year.

Fingers crossed they do well! We've got a pair of robins nesting in our garden. Not in the nice new birdhouse I put up, but in a clump of ivy growing up the trellis.

what a beautiful bird. I don't think we have its kind here in Canada. I hope you continue to take lots of pics over the nesting season. Looking forward to seeing what they are up to!

I hope you see some little ones! The wrens are back again this year, not in the bird house but in a nest under the eaves of the shed:)

Blue Tits are wonderful little birds and they find the most amazing nest sites; at a local pub they are nesting in the ashtray on the wall!

Such beautiful little birds.
I bet it's very calming sitting and watching their daily antics.
