We had to change our plans on Sunday (as often happens when you are married to a policeman!!), so with only a few hours to spare instead of the full day, we decided on a brisk walk around Clumber Park. We saw many gorgeous Cygnets.
As you can see, the skies were very threatening but we didn't get wet.
As we got nearer to the end of our walk, the skies turned blue! (for a while).
We used to visit Clumber lots when the kids were little, but we couldn't remember visiting for a while.
But it is always a fab walk.

We also had a walk around Clumber on Sunday, at about lunchtime - just think, we might have passed each other somewhere !!
We visited the walled vegetable garden and were most impressed, enthralled in fact. They had blackcurrants and gooseberries for sale at the entrance so I bought some blackcurrants and am looking forward to baking a chocolate and blackcurrant cake. It's a pity they had sold all the rhubarb - they have 112 varieties apparently.
at least it looked ok ish! weather wise....I am so tired of wet and damp!
Looks like a lovely walk.
It looks really nice here, although I've been a couple of times it's only been to the walled garden area.
Wow, that park is very beautiful. And where I am, the skies did actually threaten us, lol. With rain and high mile winds, blew away nearly everything on my back patio, lol. But those photos look absolutely fabulous :D
The cygnets are fluffy and cute.
I like the walks that you do and don't mind repeats in the least. those Cygnets are so very fluffy.
As you know we used to visit often when I was a child and we lived nearby. There are many happy memories for me there so I don't at all mind a return visit:)
Blue sky, what a rare and beautiful treat.

Could never get tired of Clumber. Lots of happy family memories.
We haven't been this year, need to remedy that!
