Hillbillies

One of my favourite TV Shows when I was little was The Beverley Hillbillies, and so my eye was drawn to this vehicle that someone had created at Harley Gala. You can't see how authentic it looked from my photos. The woodwork on it was gorgeous.

Someone had obviously spent a lot of time on this project.
I loved the attention to detail and practicality.
And the owner obviously loved his 70's music as snippets of song words were written all over it.

I love novelty items like this.

I love it! The wood looks so smooth and strokable; is that back wheel arch made out of wood?

It certain is Hillbillies and very clever indeed. That was such a strange programme, I never really liked it but obviously someone did.

I've never seen anything like it - how fascinating. I remember watching the Beverly Hillbillies at my cousin's house but not at home - I've no idea why that was now:)

IDK why, but I can't help but laugh a little at this pic. When I was younger, I used to watch this show only because my parents watched it, but nowadays, my parents watch other stuff. Like my dad will watch this one sci-fi show out of England called Primeval, which I have to admit, I really love!! It's probably the only thing out of the UK my dad doesn't insult!

The truck is great - and the song by The Eagles is greater still!
