Are you absolutely fed up of this rainy weather? I know I am. So I decided after work, and a quick trip to the hairdressers that I would drag hubby for a quick walk before we ate.
We had a quick walk around the neighbouring village of Wentworth
It always takes me ages to walk around here as there is plenty to photograph
I'm glad we made the effort - we both felt much better for a brisk stroll.
I don't think I have ever seen things looking so green!!

Yep fed up! We forced ourselves out to the beach on Monday in the rain. It has stopped here too, but there is still a cold wind which is not helpful when trying to grow veg!
Gorgeous pics by the way x
Beautiful photos, Diane. But yes, fed up with the rain! xxx
What a beautiful walk, I can see why it takes you so long to do the walk because of all the lovely things to photograph!! I am fed up with the rain too, it seems as though it has been ages since I spent any time in the garden and I really need to get out there! Let's hope for a drier weekend. xx
I don't like the rain, as it stops play. But I love looking at the garden after a downpour, everything looks so green and alive.
Rosezeeta.
Wentworth is a lovely place to take a walk even in the rain. I've a list of such places I want to revisit over your way, but the rain puts a damper on my plans. I see you went to Hathersage, which is at the top of my list and you did pick a lovely sunny day for that. Seems ages ago now since we saw the sun!
Have a good weekend, Diane.
Rain, rain go away! Just for a while - it does make for some wonderful photos though and yours are lovely. We must return to Wentworth one day:)
Love the first 2 raindrop photos.
Love those pictures! Have to admit I quite enjoy rainy weather. Not so keen on the very soggy dog, though.
So the rain has a good side.....making everything green!
I loved walking with you around Wentworth.
xxxx
I have to admit I'm a fine weather walker but have been known to brave it on occasions. Lovely photos of your walk, thanks. x
Your photos are so lovely. I am enjoying the little tour of parts of England.
