The first snow of winter.

Like most of the UK, we have awoken to our first snow - and fairly early it is too. I don't think my kids have ever seen snow in November. We don't have much at the moment, but the sky looks full of it, and as the Dancing Queen is working until 8pm, and I am on taxi duty as hubby will be working too, its causing me a bit of stress!

Once Ive taken my daughter to work, and built a snowman, like a true Virgo, I shall be wrapping the gifts I already have, so I can see what I need to still get, so that I can have all the present stuff out of the way by next week. Ive written almost all of my cards too. When it gets to Christmas, I like to spend my time eating, drinking and making merry - not in the shops! Enjoy your weekend. xxxxx

Have a lovely weekend Diane.

enjoy your snow and travel safely. I had to cancel my Christmas shopping trip today as I can't get to the station (snow!) online it is then, and then it's the postie who'll have to drive in the snow....

I love your tree man! I'm a Leo, not sure what I should be doing but if it's all talk and not much action then I'm typical!! Take care on the roads, I do feel for you, the first thing I did this morning was look outside. Ok so far but it's on the way!

Love those pics Diane, especially the tree face. No snow in London yet (thank the Lord, I'm not a snow fan). As for Xmas shopping, note to self, must do some. Eeeeeek!

Have a great weekend.

Love the tree face. Heavens, you are organised! We have several family birthdays in December, so I never feel I can start on Christmas 'til they're out of the way. The past couple of years we've done a Secret Santa with the adults, so only one adult present to buy really - but lots of childrens' ! Keep safe in the snow :)

You've got more snow than we have! Ours is just a light sprinkling - so far!

Drive carefully, its slippier than it looks!

We havn't had any snow yet, but we will. It is freezing here and there are lots of flurries but nothing like real snow.
I hate driving in the snow, MOH always makes it look easy, although he has rear wheel drive and I have the opposite in my car - I am not quite sure who has which but he has the good one for the snow and I don't;
Hope that makes sense

The snow was such a suprise this morning! A nice suprise though :) I had fun getting to work today!
You sound super organised! I have only just started really but want it to be done by December 1st! x

We woke up to snow this morning which was a worry as we had to travel to Nottingham and then to Loughborough for a special birthday treat for a friend! Next week I'm in Chesterfield staying with my sister and I'm not looking forward to travelling. I'm afraid I'm quite a disorganised Virgo as far as Christmas is concerned:)

You are Mrs Organised aren't you? :0)

Keep safe tonight. Driving around on dark, icy roads isn't much fun.

PS - I want to see photos of your snowman/woman building efforts. Violet wanted to build one today, but we've only had a smattering.

Keep safe and enjoy the snow.
I totally agree with the at, drink and be merry part of Christmas, my wrapping has also started!

My sister in law rang me from London today and said how cold it was there. I feel sorry for you having to go out in it. Love the snowman on the tree. You sound very organised. I've done nothing yet??

Hope the snow didn't get too bad, personally I hate the stuff. Even as a child I used to hate it, too wet and too cold for my liking! I've almost done all my Christmas shopping and I've written the cards, haven't wrapped anything yet though.

I'm nowhere near that organised. I'll probably end up doing what I usually do - shopping till the very last minute and wrapping on Christmas Eve.
