After our first sprinkling at the weekend, on Sunday (and with all the presents wrapped!!!) I decided to walk down the lane for a wintery walk. Can you see Wentworth Church peeping over the horizon?
I love the fact that I don't have to get in the car to go for a walk.
Pretty photos - love the berries. I like snow at that stage. Like you, we've got quite a bit more now. Looks pretty, but.... Have you really wrapped your presents?!
OK - you're just showing off the fact that you've not only purchased all your presents, but wrapped them too! Really pretty photos Diane. Hope you're managing to stay warm. xxx
We have about the same amount as you, but oh my goodness what chaos it causes. I hate it! It looks very pretty in your photographs though! Love Kathy xxx
Lovely pictures!!! We went for a walk just before sunset as the sky was starting to glow it was beautiful but walking in the snow with a lively 8 year old is a chilly experience!!! Also I wanted to mention to you in particular a book I got for my birthday recently 'Victoria's Children of The Dark' by Alan Gallop (who I believe is a local author) anyways its about the Huskar mine accident in Silkstone which I remember you blogging about recently. Em xxxx
I was hoping for a snow day off school tomorrow but we don't have that much snow, so glad you had a good walk in the snow. Can't believe you have ALL your pressies wrapped! love Lyn xxx

Our snow is melting in places and turning to ice, it is pretty deadly out walking, very slippery. Diane
