Now that we have "British Summer Time", the weather has become decidedly foul! I thought I would share some more photo's from our sunny walk around the Sculpture Park last Saturday.

The old Camelia House that belongs to Bretton Hall is in full bloom at the moment.

You've heard of toilet humour, well did you know that you could get toilet sculpture? This is a recent addition and comes straight to Wakefield directly from Central Park in New York. Not my cup of tea, but amusing.

We went through the musical archway, into the twisty woodland.

Along the brick path,

and found a secret castle.

More sculptures along the way.

I love the greenhouse that is full of mesostic poems - all describing the plant.

I love those sculptures - and the ones you posted on your earlier blog. Wish I could get there, but it would be too far for me to walk around :(

that brick path looked so inviting, and what sort of tree was that wiggly one? I can't think of one that would put out branches like that!

Really appreciating those exotic blooms today as the snow is back. And those plant signs, gorgeous, I'd love some of those, so clever.

Oh your post brings back memories. I used to love the sculpture park when I was at school in Yorkshire. Now we go camping in St Ives and always try and visit the Barbara Hepworth gardens there.

Great photos, Diane - I love the camelias - so pretty - the whole place looks wonderful - I have a huge list of 'must visits' in your area - I think it will need several days! Have a great Easter:)

Gorgeous photos of the camelias. It seems to have been a good year for them despite all the awful weather. I'm trying to find something funny to say about the toilet sculpture but I seem to be lost for words!! I'm glad its not in my local park!!
Have a great Easter.

Those camellias are lovely. I bought one for our garden but most of the buds have dropped off. Thanks for posting the latte art tutorial.
