This week.....

.... I am really missing:
Wandering through Whitby and Roaming around Robin Hoods Bay.

The young man found me heart shape stone full of fossils - a bit too big to bring home though sadly.

Meandering the moors at Monsal Dale

Proper Limestone caves.

Not quite as famous as the St Ives Green Door Noelle!! I love the hole for the cat!

And promenading around the park at Thoresby - I couldn't think of any "TH " words!!!

The Acers were truly spectacular.

I just read my last years posts for November. It reminded me (as if I need reminding) that I don't do November. I like the sun, and colour, and the outdoors. So I am going to have to think of a plan. Any suggestions? Ive already booked for the ballet next week which has gotten me slightly giddy!

Lovely photos, I do like the ice cream in particular although it is getting a little cold to be thinking of that sort of thing. I assume you'll be watching the ballet, rather than doing??

Lovely photos. No suggestions for coping with November I'm afraid, in fact I could do with some myself. Hate the cold and the wet, sun every time.

My, you surely do have some fall color! Reds and oranges and golds...really beautiful. I have only been following a few months, and I have wondered about your photo header. I'm now supposing they are really your own collection of heart shaped rocks? I never noticed any, but we have collected a rock or two from nearly every place we've been. I'll now be looking for shapes! :)

At least your lingering, happy memories of your wonderful staycation will inspire you through some of the time. I've no suggestions for getting through November as I struggle through it myself and January and February as well - a night at the ballet sounds like a good start:)

I've just caught up with all your posts from your week off. If anyone could pack in some many walks and beautiful palces into one week then it's you! Love going with you on all your trips. I want to live somewhere called Water-Cum-Jolly!
You're right I should not try and be so scheduled and go with the flow, but I am so forgetful I need a bit of organisation!
