Three photographs that didn't fit into any of my posts from my previous weekend in Sheffield, but I still wanted to share. I wish you could have heard the wonderful gospel singing coming from this chapel on Sunday morning. And I wish the sky was always that colour.
When I picked my camera, I wanted one with a good zoom, but it isn't brilliant at macro shots, but can you see that this Ladybird that landed on hubby's coat was half red and black and half yellow and black? Answers on a postcard as to why this is!
And finally, words from Jarvis on a block of student accommodation. One of my friends at the WI taught him at school. Did you teach him no brains Mrs S?

Love the quote! I saw Jarvis Cocker in Paris once. We were waiting to go on the Ferris Wheel in the Jardin de Tuileries and he was behind us with his young family. My daughter was beside herself but we were too shy to speak to him.
Haha!! Not guilty when it comes to his English - I only had him for PE!
Good old Jarvis! What a beautiful blue sky, but no, can't help with any ladybird knowledge, I'm afraid. Though we do have a small colony living in the corner of our bathroom on the ceiling! xxx

That looks like a Harlequin ladybird. They do come in red and yellow,(though not usually at the same time!) and orange. They're an invasive species killing off our native ladybirds!
